Developing Supplementary Sociolinguistic Material in Youtube Channel to Stimulate the Students’ Critical Thinking in Hybrid Class

The objective of this particular research and development is to produce the supplementary sociolinguistic materials encourage students’ critical thinking in hybrid class. Based on preliminary study conducted by researcher, it was discovered that most learner lacked motivation understand core book sociolinguistic. Then, lecturer should be creative Because situation, researcher design learning process toward YouTube channel solve problems. use Research Development with some steps conducting need assessment, material development, validation product, implementation final product. product designed Productive Reading Technique which has similarity activities standard KKNI curriculum. researchers are going collect relevant information guided questionnaire for students, lecturer’ interviews, checklist form suggestion from expert validations. data result described strongest weakness Sociolinguistic development. implication divided into three points namely, students could achieve reading skill average 81%, 91% around 83% student give responses base thinking.
